LIVING ARCHIPELAGOS
The Living Archipelagos Program is a new initiative being led by the Bishop Museum in collaboration with Conservation International’s Marine Program Division. Living Archipelagos was conceived to accelerate the establishment of protective management regimes for important island and atoll ecosystems worldwide, beginning with the tropical Pacific islands of Polynesia and Micronesia.
